Description: Kids Epee Camp
The La Jolla Country Day School graciously provided us with a facility for a kids epee camp thanks to Erik Frey, who also facilitates the school’s fencing program. Kids of all levels interested in Epee are welcome. The camp is conducted by our guest coach Volker Oberkircher of the Heidelberger Fecht Club in Germany.
The focus of this camp is on fun, footwork and epee fundamentals.

Camp Description: This is for foil fencers who need to get ready for the 2008-‘09 fencing season. Plan to register early, our summer camps are usually full because enrolment is limited to keep the quality of the camp very high.

Description: The purpose of the camp is to provide an environment of intense training with other driven fencers to improve and prepare for the Summer national Championships. Prices include private lessons and lunch for each day. Each day will roughly run from 9am- 4pm each day with additional practice and training available Mon, Wed, and Fri. of each session from 7-9:30pm. Tigran Shaginian will be providing private lessons as well as intensive training. The training will focus on footwork, conditioning, and a myriad of other advanced techniques to improve a fencer’s skills. Those who will not be able to endure a rigorous format should not sign up for these sessions. A deposit of $150 per fencer is needed to reserve a spot as there is limited space available.
